How long from biometrics to work authorization?

I'm very excited. Received my biometrics interview date (22 August 2009).

When do y'all think I can start looking for work?

for what you have filed for so far (assuming you have filed for aos? ead?ap?) it will help us help you. B)

also i don't think there is a standard amount of time between biometrics and when your ead or any application will be approved. it is better to go by filing date and their estimated processing times.

for example i filed 18th june (noa1 date), my vj timeline estimates that my ead and ap may or may not be approved in the next two weeks based on the factors it has analysed from other people timeline data. but i only completed my biometrics on thursday which was weeks earlier than my original appointment date because i was not allocated one till a month later than my filing date and appointment was to be two months later than noa1. where as others completed theirs wihin a month of.

then you have the offical time frames on uscis who state an average of 90 days to process ead and ap from receipt (noa1 date) but then the times vary as well so some people get things a lot fast than others.

you can't really use biometrics as a standard point of reference because uscis are using date of receipt as their point of reference.

all i really know though is that until your biometrics is complete they cnanot resume processing ead and aos. well it states this in the biometrics notice.
