Hi guys,

I am going to be sending the papers back to the consulate next Monday and I just want to verify that all I have to send is the checklist and the DS-230.

If there is anything else, please let me know.

Thanks. :)

Nope that's it!

I remember it seems silly to send them only a few pieces of paper, but that's all they needed!

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

Thanks guys. I keep seeing peoples timelines and that it may take like 2 months or more to get an interview date so I want to send this stuff in as quickly as possible now. I'm supposed to get my passport on Friday so I'll finish up the DS-230 and send all that in on Monday. I'm also scheduling the medical as soon I get my passport back as well. I just want to get that interview date already. :)

And just so I don't think I'm going crazy, when I printed out the DS-156, it gave me a little barcode thing on the first page and then on the last page it gave me a long barcode. Thats correct, right?

Yeah.. If i remember correctly, if you type the information in the form on a PDF, the overflow from some of those longer pages appears on that second page where the barcode it. So like, your list of trips.

Awesome! Thanks! I'm actually making an extra looseleaf page and writing all my trips and stuff there. I think I have too many to write in that little space and I figure I'll just write out all I can remember there and hopefully that'll help out the interviewer. ;)

Good idea. I did that and the interviewer thanked me for helping her out. I wrote all the trips out for the DS 230, but for the DS 156 I was lazy and just put "multiple, see DS 230." I actually don't think she read anything other than my DS 230 and the original I-129F. Makes you wonder why they make you fill out so many things if they don't even bother consulting them... But oh well! Good luck getting a fast interview date!

As far as I know the DS 160 is currently being used by the Montreal consulate only, not vancouver. The DS 160 is just an electronic form very similar to the DS 156.
