RFE Blues-Recording VS Operator

At the Advice of my Lawyer, we sent in our DS-230 without the part II so we have slipped off the “February Filer Fast Track” and are in a holding pattern now. I see several that Filed about the same time as we did and I see that you are approved! Congrats to you all.

Just thought I would share my experiences one week after sending in incomplete paperwork. I would try one of the “Self Manufactured” Bar Code Sheets but I’m not 100% sure about what they want since Operators info to me keeps changing.

My RFE Message has always been “we have reviewed your documents and found Information incomplete or missing. A letter has been mailed on…No mention of a checklist for me.

Funny how the recordings and Operators dont give the same info..hehe

Called on Friday 7/10 –Recording Says Letter mailed on 7/9 – No operator

Called on Monday 7/13 – Recording says Letter mailed on 7/9 Operator Agrees

Called on Tuesday 7/14 – Recording says Letter mailed on 7/11 Operator Agrees

Called on Thursday 7/16– Recording says Letter mailed on 7/11 Operator Says 7/13

Called again Thursday 7/16 Operator offers to send me letter on 7/16

Called on Friday 7/17-Recording says Letter mailed on 7/11-Operator Says 7/13

Since October I have been spending 2-3 months in Philippines with my wife and a month or so Home working on our house, etc. This August will be my 4th trip to Philippines since we were married. Was hoping July would be my last trip back to US alone without her!

Well, I’m thankful that I am able to spend this time with her, we have a lot of fun in the Philippines, but it’s hard to find a good house sitter for 3 months at a time. Hopefully we still have a chance to get our Visa still in 2008!
