Hi folks:

I’m trying to time my K-1 application for my Indian fiancée so that she gets here after her daughter’s school gets over mid –April 2010.

She has a 10 year multiple entry visa and has been to the US twice, the first in December 2008 and the second March 2009. The second visit was to lend me hand while I was recovering from hospitalization.

Unfortunately at the POE the second time the IO asked her the purpose of her visit and she said to take care of me. Next 3 questions: 1) is he USC? 2) Is he single? 3) Are you single? Then all hell broke loose, with 2 hours of interrogation including comments about her having my credit card # even though the Officer does not share credit cards with his wife of 17 years. They let her, but stamped no AOS COS EOS.

We want to get together over Christmas break, by which time I would have filed the K-1. The most time I can get off is 2 weeks, she can get a month. Plus there is the exquisite zoo animal experience of dealing with relatives…

What are the chances of her being denied entry? She has a job, parents, child half way through the school year and assets.

Isaac
