Most of the K-4 Visa Info, I've read on the Net states that the K-4 Visa expires when the K-3 Visa does. Just want to let everyone know that Info is false!!. My husband's K-3 expires this thursday and the girls passports were delivered this morning and they were given until June of 2011. All I had to do was send in the d-s230 and their birth certificates. So two years later they were still granted follow to join benefits.

and yes my fellow Yardies know how much I stressed during the process one of my fears was that the girls visa would expire when their dad's did.

But apparently the state department can grant K-4 visas for at least one year giving the K-3 reciepent time to get the k-4 child into the country and apply for AOS!

Hope this posts help someone else on the visa journey!!
