Anyone taking part in this exercise in the absurd?

Is it art?

Stone me! ... girl balances on pillar

THIS odd squad are going flat out in the latest internet craze - The Lying Down Game. Here's the lowdown. Players compete to find the weirdest place to lie down, take pictures of themselves in action - or rather, inaction - then post them on social networking website Facebook

The game is played around the globe, with thousands of people going to extreme lengths, including resting horizontally on a mountain top or even a jet engine.

Rules say hands must be flat against the sides, with the toes pointing at the ground.

In The USA it would be considered "art"... as we have very little to compare it too.

My wife is always amazed (as am I) at the collections of metal and other materials that pass for public art.

As for Facebook, every person I knew at one time or another wants to be "My friend" on there.

Heck if we weren't friends in school... why would I want to be friends with them now when we don't even live in the same state?
