I'm a K-3 holder, now in the states, and I've been scaling the bureaucracy mountain for my AoS application. I have some questions that I've compiled, that I can't see an answer to in the guides. Can anyone help?

  1. It's great that K-1 holders only need a supplementary medical form (I-693A ), but what about us K-3 holders? Do I need to redo the entire medical, even though I had one in London as part of my K-3 application? If so, why is K-3 treated differently from K-1 in this regard? And if not, where in blazes is this dang I-693A form?
  2. Again on the K-1 / K-3 differences, is it true that I need to get my EAD approved before I can get a social security number (SSN)? See http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=ssn. If so, again, why for K-3 and not for K-1?
  3. I'm guessing I may as well file my I-765 at the same time as my I-485. I understand I can send them in one package .. but to where .. is it the Chicago office with PO Box 805887 .. and if so, can anyone find where this is explicitly stated?
  4. If I file the above together, I assume I only need one biometric fee payment .. can anyone confirm?

Sorry to bombard with questions, just thought it would be easier to compile them rather than post separately. A reward of MANY THANKS goes to anyone who can help me out

In answer to one of your questions, yes, you file I-485 and I-765 together to the Chicago lock box. Also biometric fee is only necessary for the I-485.

Johnny Spangle,

K1 and K3 are treated the same, and they may or may not need the I-693 Vaccination Supplement.

If they do need it, it can be found at their friendly Civil Surgeon's office.
