I received my Biometrics notification today. My appointment is July 27, 2009.

Does my husband have to attend as well, or just me (the green card holder)?

Also, does this mean that we submitted enough evidence? If so, that's wonderful!

Anything else I should know?

Hi,

The sponsoring spouse doesn't necessary has to go as biometrics are for the applicant only. But theres no harm if he wishes to accompany you.

Please check USCIS website to see if your ASC is open on weekends. If so you can go right away and do a the early biometric on weekend to

save weekend office hours and busy traffice.

https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=of...office_type=ASC

For the last part of your question, The answer is no. Because sending out NOA (notice of action, I-797C) and biometric is done for more cases.

It simply means they scanned your documents, the form, the payment check and put your application in queue for processing. Once biometrics

are done and your names is cleared in the FBI list then they get around processing your application then only you will know.

Most of the time I-751 is approved and RFE (Request for Further Evidence) is rare and the least is the interview. So make sure you do the biometric

and don't forget to do it.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck.
