Hello,

As you can see in my timeline, my case was completed at NVC on 7/2. When I spoke with the operator at NVC yesterday and asked for an update, she told me that the case was completed today and that my wife needs to bring police certificate with her at the time of the interview. I tolds her that we had sent the original PC to NVC. she said you can bring a copy of the certificate. I am a little confused as to why NVC wants my wife to bring PC when they already have the original and two copies sent to them. If anyone has an idea, please share.

As far as I understand, you technically are suppose to bring the PCC from the country you are presently living in at the time of the interview.

If you have already sent it in to the NVC, then you just can submit a copy as the PCC is valid for one year.

Do you have a copy with you?

Thank you for your response. Yes, I have a copy and also a duplicate in original. So, I guess we will bring both. Thanks again.
