A# (Alien Registration Number).

File Number/A# are the same thing.

Since you posted this question in the Adjustment of Status forum - I'll assume you're adjusting status - what visa are you adjusting from? A# should be on the visa.

i came in the usa on the wvp, so i basically don't have a visa so no alien number? so should i write non?

Another possible answer might be "Unknown" (some folks might have one issued for certain types of visa in the past - not sure if this applies to you, otherwise put "None".)
