I just received biometric appointments for a 2 year old and a 10 year old. Double checked the I-485 & the I-131 instructions and both clearly state that biometrics are not required for children less than 14.

yes, but the minor children must still get a photo taken... so while it is not the full blown "biometrics", they still need to appear.

Yes and no. The photo submitted with the I-485 can be used for the green card. However while we were there with Pasha, they did take his photo. No fingerprints.

My stepson did a walk-in for his biometrics, and he is done with this. We never got a rescheduled appointment NOA, which some people has gotten already. I am glad we took the initiative to go and do it. My wife told me that there was nobody at the place when they arrived early this morning.

Surely USCIS wants to take a week off after this Saturday July 4th.

Ciao!

I am glad you did this, I was typing a response for you to make an infopass appointment and saw this post. Keep after this. He ages out at 21.

Thanks. I believe that the photo taken at the bio appointment is the same one which will appear in the Green Card (GC).

Ciao!
