Hello Guys. I was told by the travel agent last year that those with an Immigrant Visa ( CR-1 and IR-1) can get a discount under air fare if it is the first time that they are flying to the US. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thank You Guys!

I did not know about the first time immigrant discount on air fare, but I priced a one way ticket from manila to where I am at, seems to be between 600 and 700 dollars, but I will be interested to see what the discount is.

Suggestion, Try calling Orbitz, Travelocity or Priceline they offer the lowest prices anyway and see if they will give first time immigrant discount. I checked on a one-way for November and it was approx. $650.00 and if they would give another 20% off that would be a good deal. Good Luck
