Just a reminder to all of us Pinays

It's great that we are now living our dream with the one we love

We may or may not have a job (and some of us might not really need to have one, anyway)

we're enjoying the holidays, love attending fairs and going to beautiful places

and the company of new families and friends and neighbors

Enjoying american food (sometimes not)

Earning dollars (times 48! income)

shopping with a credit card courtesy of our generous hubbies

Mastering the rnglish language or getting better and better at it.

Driving our own car to wherever we want, or getting ready for the road test

Appreciating the absence of pollution and traffic...

So many blessings have come our way

It's a good life so far so let's be thankful... and just be that -thankful.

It's ok to be proud about your life now

but there's no need to brag (sometimes we do and not know it)

be careful not to sound more american than your american spouse

and certainly disagree when something not nice is said about our fellow Pinays

no need to say negative things about other pinays, especially the newbies!

Don't forget how we felt when we ourselves were newbies here on VJ
