when they ask to send copies of marriage certificate, does these need to be done at the borough clerk (i just checked the price: 75 dollars per page )

or could i just copy it with whatever printer?? lol

Send a copy and bring an original if/when you get an interview.

It should be a certified copy. Meaning you need to ask it from the town hall. Because when I asked the clerk if what does the certified copy means they said it should be the one with the seal on their security paper. Ours is "Certified transcript of marriage". Here in NY its $10 but they gave it us for free since they made a mistake with our marriage certificate. I hope this helps.

Pretty sure they want a certified copy. Where is this that they are charging you $75????? That's ridiculous.

Our first one was $8 from the county clerk. We ended up needing another one later, so they gave us 2 more for free because my husband noticed that they had written the date wrong on it.
