hello everybody!!

i want to know what will i answer here in the question number 39..the question is was this application prepared by another person on your behalf? thats yes or no..

me and my fiancee got an our attorney for her to help us.. and my fiancee help in getting things also and ive been getting things that are needed which i can get.. so what will be my answer to this and if i answer yes.. theres a follow up question number 40. the application prepared by:

NAME: Relation ship to applicant:

ADDRESS:

signature of person preparing form: DATE:

thats my problem if i answer yes do i need to get the signature for this?

i hope all of you can help me coz i will go to manila tomorrow for interview!!!

plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help!!

If the attorney actually prepared the form, (as in, filling in the complete form), gave to you to just "sign your signature" then you would check yes (actually the attorney should of done this), and they would then place their signature/date.

On the other hand,

If you filled in the complete form, and only asked questions to the attorney, then you prepared the form, not the attorney, so no need to check this.

So the real question is, who actually prepared the form?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

If your interview is tomorrow what choice do you have unless you were to reschedule and I bet you don't want to do that. I would answer no and sign it. They are going to be more concerned that the info is accurate and complete. Good Luck on your interview. I'm sure you will be fine. Mike
