I never really liked either :P but I think technically the Ramones started the punk movement, not the Sex Pistols.

For some reason when it comes to hard core music I prefer the German stuff. It just sounds better to me :)

I was living in Nashvegas in the mid 80's.. it probably scarred me for life, but this was one of my fave local bands ... Jason and the Scorchers.. hardcore country punks.
