Hi. I need help. I have been in the US for the last 5 years. But I entered with I visa, which is media. I worked before in a US territory. I had been issued SS number there. My I visa has no expiratin. In 2008, I got married with a US citizen. I dont have work permit but been working. I filed for my adjustment and they are asking for financial support documents. With my application, I included my income in the last five years. I am currently working right now and making good money. but they are asking for initial evidence. Can I include my income although I dont have working permit yet? Without my income, my husband's income, (i have three stepchildren, two are leaving with us) wont surpass the 125 % poverty line. Help
