hi chris_girlie...thanks for ur reply..well exactly thats what my fiance and I thought...since I am already annulled...

but my other friend here and maybe some more annulled filipinas used their married names coz of their passport etc...i dont think mine is a big problem for as long as per advise of a friend here, must have an NBI clearance with married name coz it will be asked during the interview..like u, she also gave me some relevant info on how to go about it...

just curious if those who already applied using maiden name encountered any problem with their K-1 application...i hope it wont be returned to us coz time for us is so precious...

thanks and godbless...

You should write your maiden name since you're already officially annulled,on G325A,you'll be asked to write the other names you used and that's where you'll write your x's last name.during my interview, the CO didnt ask for my nbi with my married name but then, it all depends on the consul so you better get one to be safe.

good luck on your interview

thank u so much manilaidaho for ur reply..wow..i am so relieved now....coz thats what i did...wrote my maiden name down and the next box was married name...

im not really worried about the interview coz it wouldnt be close till after 5-6 months ( i guess )..but rather worried if the USCIS returns the I129 packet for lack of proof to use my maiden name although my finality and decision were attached...which means another reason tp delay the process...i hope not...i know those two annulment requirements are great evidence already of termination of my previous marriage..ang hirap pala kung annulled...magastos na, marami pang requirements/papers....kung alam ko lang sana,,,well, it pays to be married naman bfore, at least no longer ignorant on how to deal with the husband to be...

thank u again and god bless...pls. dont get fed up with my query next time..thanks for reading and for being around to help me

Hi!

In my case i already use my maiden name, then on the box "all other names used" i typed my married name before.then on the box "former husband" i wrote my ex's name...be sure to include the ORIGINAL paper to prove termination of previous marriage in your packet to send at USCIS.kasi pinadalhan nila kami ng RFE kasi hindi orignal napadala ko.

hope this helped...God Bless!
