My fiance and I wanted his parents and sister to attend our wedding in the US once we have approval. They live in the UK. Can they come on a visa waiver if they are only staying for a week or do the HAVE to get a tourist visa in order to attend the wedding? If they have to get a tourist visa, how early on can they apply for it? We don't even have our approval yet but I wanted to let them know what they will have to do if they in-fact have to get a tourist visa. If someone knows the steps we have to take to make this happen or where I can find this information, if you can let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

UK citizens (who have never had any visa 'issues') do not need a tourist visa for such short visits - under the VWP (Visa Waiver Program) - they simply need to book their flight.

And they need to fill in online ESTA - www.ESTA.us/apply - at least 48 hours before travelling I believe.
