Hi Everyone :hehe: ,

I'm new to the forums my name is Mo, my sister used to be on here and it made her visa process easier so i'm giving this a shot since my K1 visa process has been a bit bumpy and long :help: .

I started my k1 visa process in January of 2008, my fiances k1 was approved and she got her interview in April at the Ethiopian embassy. To make a long story short

our Petition for Alien Fiance(e) (Form I-129F) was returned from the Department of State and is currently pending review ,they question the legitimacy of our marriage I'm assuming its because we were so young (she was 18 and I was 19).

After waiting a year I just got a letter that said....

Yes, that is what it means, it is being sent back to Ethiopia. Certainly you mis-typed when you said "marriage". This is a K-1 visa, none of the parties can be married.
