Hi,

Please help. Am I suppose to register my wife? I just read this on the I485 form which concerns me. "I understand and acknowledge that, under section 262 of the Immigration and Nationality Act(Act), as an alien who has been or will be in the United States for more than 30 days, I am required to register with US Citizenship and Immigration Services. I understand and acknowledge that, under section 265 of the Act, I am required to provide USCIS with my current address and written notice of any change of address with ten days.."

She just came over under Fiancee K-1 Visa..

As far as I know, you and your fiancé must register marriage's license(married) in 90 days since the day she's enter to the US. And then you can file the I-485. In my case, I didn't register or do anything at all.

That's what she is agreeing to by signing that form. No other registration is required.

So if you move she must go online and change her address with the AR-11. Also the sponsor must send in a change of address form as well.
