Med. exam done!

Hi, guys! I decided to write about my experience!

So, I got an appointment with IOM for the day I wanted. "Medisina" was all packed! Weird.

I came at 10.30. Got a paper to fill in. Then I paid for the exam (160$) and DS-3025 (20$). Btw, DS-3025 is a translation of all your vaccinations. I decided not to have additional vaccines made because the woman told me it's very expensive in their hospital (50$ each). Then she gave me a huge envelope and a description how to get to the hospital.

The hospital is near the Lenin's library, near the Kremlin. About 20 mins on subway. Not far! I got there about 12.

They took blood for HIV etc, got an x-ray of the chest and then a GP examined me. That's it! They told to come back at 16:00!

So, at 13:00 I finished the whole medical exam! YAY!

I went to pay for DHL and then just enjoyed the city

At 16 I came back, got the huge envelope back with a smaller one for the embassy and went back home to my town )))))))

Katia-a-a - can you tell me more about required vaccinations? I know there is a list, but can we take care of that once my fiancee is here in the States with me?

It's great you did not have a negative experience a MOM. Not all have been so lucky there.
