Packet 4 USEM instructions

How accurate are the contents of packet 3 and 4 that is being sent by the respective consulates to the beneficiary after the petition is approved?

The reason why i asked this is, i notice that the forms are outdated and exact fees to pay, now that makes me doubt about the instructions too especially on the list of countries with unobtainable police certificates.... How can i be sure this is an accurate list based on the outdated forms and fee pattern? Or that the consulate will not require me to produce police certificate listed on the "unobtainable country" if it appears that its included in the list of "DO NOT attemp to request?" If they ask me later, can i argue that i followed the given consulate instructions on packet 3 & 4?

Help pls..... one of the countries am talking about takes 3 months to request so theres no way to meet my interview date which is in a month from now. This is playing havoc on me especially after knowing from the country that is listed as "unobtainable" that it can be requested- i called and there is no refusal of request for police certificate for foreigners, only it takes 3 months .....which in this way contradicts the USEM given instructions- all the more iam paranoid about it...if at worst, i will omit that travel afterall its been 2 decades ago. What do you think? Is it that important to list every countries one lived especially if there is no criminal records ever?

you should check the DOS web site http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/reciproc...ocity_3272.html enter the name of the country and scroll down. if you cannot obtain PC from that country print that out and take with you as evidence. if you can obtain PC from that country then contact the embassy of that country in the phils. to obtain it.

thank you so much marijoe!! you have been a big help....i didnt know this web exists... :bonk:I had it ed here that the packet 4 instructions are outdated- the country am referring to appears that it is obtainable contrary to their list given.... now am in deadlock!! there's no way it meets my interview date. Iam left with option to drop the country and pray really hard that it wont be a big deal....get past it and forever bury the one place ive been. God help me ......
