Questions regarding baggage in the airport (i'm a bit worried!)

Couple0426, better call ur airline and ask about their check-in baggage weight limit. Ako kse i was informed by the agency about China Airlines baggage weight limit for US bound na two 23 kgs/50 lbs plus a carry-on bag of 7kgs.

Well, about the question on how i weighed my baggage, i only have a personal flat weighing scale that we have at home. I already used that to weigh my baggage before when i traveled abroad in 2002 and even sa mga local flights ko lang. Accurate naman sya basta tinitilt ko young box kse ndi naman sya kasya dun sa maliit na flat surface nung weighing scale. At least, it gives me the idea if kulang or sobra na ba sa 23 kgs. I'm planning na magexcess sa isang baggage ko basta not more than 5 kgs ang excess and ok lang din if i'm going to pay basta wag lang sobrang mahal at afford ko pa kesa nman magbawas ako at manghinayang na ndi ko pa dinala eh halos lahat naman ng pinack ko are really important items to me. Sana nga khit an excess of 1 or 2 kgs if 23 kgs ang weight limit sa China Airlines eh iallow na nila yon at wag na ipenalty hehe...

Kapatid, halos lahat ng meron dito meron di sa US.

Kung pwedeng dun mo na bilihin, iwan mo na lang. Besides, you are immigrating to the US... hindi naman mag-lalast lahat ng supplies mo.

suggestion lang naman. kasi minsan over over and singil dun... para ka ng bumili ng bagong stuffs... and i-wi-wish mo bumili ka na lang ng bagong stuffs.

I'm confused. I thought each passenger only allowed 25 kgs. check-in baggage but some airline are only 23. But as what I've read here they have two 23 kgs baggage, so all in all 46? Makes me confuse now. I just want to clarrify if it's ok to bring a lot of baggae as long as each baggage wont excess to their limit?? Am i right?

NO,most airlines allow only 2 bags that has kgs limitation.like what they said,it's best to call ur airline.

she have a point. just bring a few pairs of jeans and tops when you & your man wants to hang out. and pair of pj's na pwede mo suot sa bahay lang. besides you will be here in a great time, SUMMER. you don't need to bring a lot of clothes. when you get here in the states, saka ka na lang bumili ng mga clothes that you can use, specially for winter. mas kailangan mo yun. besides summer is the great season to buy winter clothes kasi mura.

about your baggage. anything excess you will pay for it. check your airline. you can bring 2 check-in baggage 23kgs each. but make it 21 or 22kgs.
