Well, now that I'm finally an American citizen, I applied for adjustment of status for my mom. She lives in NY. Now my question is: I'm filling out the I-864 Affidavit of Support. My husband and I had filed our taxes together, I'm a full time student and part time worker and my income alone would not be enough to support my relative. My husband is the main provider of the house and with both our incomes we are able to do and Affidavit of support.

But since I filled my taxes with my husband, and on the tax return transcript it only shows our jointly income, as you might know. Does he need to fill out a form I-864 A with me? I mean, basically all the info on I-864 would be on the I-864A, but I don't know, I'm confused!

Any help is much appreciated!
