Wow, I just got blindsided! On May 1 I phoned the Manila Embassy; they offered me a K-1 interview for June 3 (Happy!). I just came from Cagayan de Oro NSO to get my toddlers passport, and the NSO informed me that his passport will not arrive at my hometown for 12 business days! Can I still go to St. Lukes and do the medical with him if he has no passport yet? If I wait til his passport gets here, it will be May 27, and even if I traveled to St. Lukes that same day, and the medical exam results are clean, is one or two days enuf time for the medical results to be processed at the Embassy, in time for my interview? I think there is a 7-day advance notice requirement to reschedule the interview! I'm leaning toward rescheduling the interview, but I fear that doing so might be a red flag for the interviewer, or that I will be questioned and grilled as to why I didn't show up. Ok, my friends, will St. Lukes accept my toddler for medical without the passport? Should I just bite the bullet and reschedule? :help:

I would call St Lukes and ask them if they will do the medical without the passport ... other than that you will have to reschedule the interview. You have a very good reason so I would not worry about red flags. :D

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Thanks guys. It was nice of you to notice my little post in this huge VJ site. Remotely trying to manage this stuff is a stress nightmare.

My fiancee finally finished at St. Lukes after 2 weeks of trial and error.

I do my best to keep her spirits up, but it is real tough sometimes, especially when I hear her getting beaten down with the stress.

I hope all this difficulty will make our bond stronger when she finally gets thru the interview, God willing.

Regards to you,

John
