passport/name change

I got married in 2008, filed K3 2009. My passport is in my maiden name, should I change it to my married name? I have traveled to see my husband in China with my passport in my maiden name. That is the only thing that isn't changed everything else I changed to my married name. Would it be better to change the name on the passport to my married name before the interview? I can make a copy of the passport with all the visits to China to show for the interview and have the new one with my married name. Let me know. Thanks.

It's up to you and how easily you can change it in China. In Colombia for example is a hassle that most people don't want to go through because it's not common to change your name after you're married, so we keep our Colombian documents, including our passports with our maiden name. We just fly with a copy of our marriage certificate in case they ask any questions.

I guess I should of clarified my situation a little better. I live in the U.S., my husband lives in China, I applied for the K-3 here in the states. I have traveled with it in my maiden name, and luckily Missouri issued my drivers license in my married name, but they also issued me an ID card in my maiden name, to match my passport. I just was wondering if that would be an issue when he interviews why I haven't changed my passport over, but then again I want them to see my old passport with my Chinese visas and stamps in there.
