Cleared NVC after 44 days

Hi guys,

we were stuck in NVC for 44 days, yeste we learned that our case has been sent to Mumbai consulate and will reach there by end of this week.

Is there any thing that we can do now to speed up the process ? it has been quite an agonizing delay so we are hoping we can rush things up some how.

Congrulations for the case completion... Now NVC will schedule an interview date.. They usually say they do it in 2nd week of each month and no harm in checking every other day because you never know when you hear the interview date for your case..

Congratulations!! If NVC has sent the case to the Mumbai consulate, wait until the Mumbai consulate receives the case and then submit the packet 3. While the case is in transit, download the packet 3 from the consulate website and start preparing the paperwork. (I am saying this based on your profile saying you are apply for a K-1 visa). Once you submit the packet 3 for the K-1, the consulate will schedule an interview date as soon as possible.
