Hi All,

Great forum. Me and my wife just filed Adjustment of status for me. The lawyer that helped us misspelled my social security number. I found that out when I requested a copy of my paperwork, I track the package and it was delivered on time to USCIS in Chicago.

Should I be worried? What is the next step to correct the social security number? Thanks all.

Since the typo was made by the lawyer's office, I would inform them of the mistake. A good lawyer will be accountable for their mistakes and handle the situation.
