Im quite sure before you get your green card through marriage, you receive an interview. Is this correct ?. If so, does anyone know the type of questions that are asked, and if they can turn down your green card if you are married. ?

There is an interview, yes, but there is also a lot more work before you get to that point. You can read the guides above for an idea of what that entails.

The interview questions are usually about when and how you met your spouse, your relationship since then, visits, family, job, like and dislikes, hobbies, friends and so on. You certainly can be denied a green card if the immigration officer believes that the marriage is fraudulent- there's never a guarantee. It's up to you to prove that the marriage is real, not for them to prove that it's not.

I was married twice before. Once to a Taiwanese woman and once to a Kenyan. I went through the interview process twice. After you have been married and file for the residency card, you both will interview at INS. The intent is to show that you are living as a married couple. Marriage certificate, Show joint - active bank accounts, utility bills in both names, medical insurance in both names, if you bought a car or home, show its in both you names, each other's will and testament giving each other everything in case one dies, and of course, affidavit of support. That's where they tell you that if its a fraud, revoke it in writing immediately to protect yourself.
