I am going to buy my Fiance (coming with K-1) an airline ticket. I was thinking about Northwest. Does it have any requirements from her since I am buying the ticket? Any airline recommendations since I am buying the ticket?

Also, what kind of ####### will she have to put up with immigration? The custom officers gave me a hard time on my last trip. Is there any reason they could turn her away? I just want her to be prepared. Any tricky questions they might ask?

Many Thanks

Just her full name and passport number on buying ticket.Check Continental Airlines if you like.Their service is good.

On immigration at NAIA..she will pay Php 750 for terminal fee and Php 1,620 for travel tax if its not included in the ticket yet.She will fill up a small form after she pay her terminal fee then fall inline on where you will take off your shoes, bags for checking to go on the gate of the plane.

Then on her POE the officer there will just get her visa packet envelope, passport bcoz they will stamp her I-94 there, take her fingerprints and pic and remind her to get married within 90days.

My customs checking were in Hawaii..they just asked me there whats was in my baggage..i just told them my personal things and thats it.

Happy Trip!!!

if youre using your credit card to pay for her ticket, she will need to bring a photocopy of both your passport and credit card.

Yeah she will be fine if you buy the ticket online. Just send her the copy of your ID and the credit card. Customs usually give other nationality a hard time,

tell your fiance not to bring immitation stuff like guess, louie vuitton, lacoste bags and etc.

PAL, EVA air requires this, I dunno about the rest. Better safe than sorry.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

My husband were the one who bought the tickets for me and our daughter. And he bought it at Continental airlines website and used credit card...he didnt send me a photo copy of his credit card...didnt encounter problem about it...I just showed to the guard at NAIA our itineraries,my passport and my daughter's US Passport..they didnt ask me about my husband's passport copy or credit card copy.

But if you want to make sure she will not encounter problems or the staff won't give her hard time..just give her your credit card photocopy.

Hi, my fiance ( husband now) bought me a ticket through Northwest Airline direct ticketing online when I flew here in US and he used his credit card. He just forwarded me the copy of Booking information/Itineraries and my E-ticket and I don`t have any problems in NAIA. All I did was I pay only the Terminal fee of 750 and my Travel Tax 1,620 that time and I just showed only my passport and visa, that`s all.

But that time my husband send me a copy of his credit card (showing the 4 digits number)in case they asks for me, but no hassle I didn`t used it though.

Hope it helps! God bless!

Avoid Northwest like the plague. It's cheap, but there's nothing to do on the flight (no in seat entertainment system). I booked my wife and mother-in-law on Northwest for their trips here and both times I regretted it. Asiana Airlines and Cathay Pacific are better options if you can afford them.

My wife had no major problems at the POE. The officer asked her what I do for a living and what her occupation was. When she told him her family had a catering business, he replied... "Lucky guy!". :) The only problem was that he forgot to change the date of the stamp he put on her I-94 and passport, so her passport shows an arrival date in the US one day before the departure date stamped by Philippine Immigration. Fortunately it's never been a problem.
