i am sometimes a bit anoyed by having to drive like 2 blocks to pick something up because there's no freaking sidewalks here

Driving is fun...it's sharing the road that gets in the way of the enjoyment.

me too. some cars I wouldn't want to own because they'd be no fun as a daily driver, but if I had a track, yes please!

Not in a subdivision in the US, no I wouldn't.

In Europe you could probably get away with it. You definitely don't need to personally own a car if you live in a town.

Americans are prisoners of their automobiles, IMO.

Better than prisoners of mass transit.

Imagine what you could do with all the money you've ever spent on cars, interest on car loans, gasoline, maintenance, insurance..................................
