Timeline

I'm the OP posting a follow-up on our situation:

We ended up filing for 2006 and 2007 using Form 2555-EZ to negate her Canadian income for those years. It only took a few minutes at our IRS office and the guy who processed the claims said that we did the right thing. He mentioned that the IRS probably won't send any summary to her since the adjusted gross income was $0 for those years. After that we were able to complete the I-864 and only attached the 2008 transcript.

Lifting Conditions

01-Jun-2011: Filed I-751

06-Jun-2011: I-751 NOA

20-Jul-2011: Biometrics appointment

03-Dec-2011: File Electronic AR-11 to update address

25-Mar-2012: Approved
