Just to let everyone know, last Wednesday I applied for a SSN since my AoS was approved the week before and I received my Green Card. Waited for about a half hour in the busy office, and the woman who I saw was fairly unpleasant. As soon as I handed her my Green Card, she made a show of examining it against my passport closely, and then took the Card to show to her supervisor. She kept pointing and something on my passport, then something on the back of my Card and shaking her head. I couldn't hear what she was saying, but her boss looked annoyed and kept repeating, "I know, they're like that now, it's normal, it's fine". She finally came back, returned my Card and passport, had me sign a form, and said my SSN would arrive in 7-10 days. When I thanked her, she ignored me and turned back to her computer. I guess we Canadian immigrants are very suspicious!

Anyway, my SSN arrived this morning in the mail, which is about 5 business days. No problems with it, everything was fine. :) I hope everyone else has no problems.

"Your mom is in my head right now, and she's saying don't do that."

"For Sale. One Parachute . Used only once, never been opened. Small stain."
