The US embassy in Manila sent us a packet with my wife's Interview date and Medical date.

I have a question regarding the I-864 they sent to us. I am currently unemployed. Been unemployed

for the last 3 years. I'm here in the Philippines taking up a 2nd course, so I'm studying again.

My sister, who lives in California, will be co-sponsor me and her husband will be a household member.

My sister has filled out a I-864 and 864A, and her husband filling out a 864A.

It says that I have to furnish a copy of W-2 and tax returns. I have copies of my sisters and her husbands tax returns

and w-2's.

As far as I go, I have a tax return from 2007, I went home to the states to attend a wedding and got a summer job.

Other than the 2007 tax returns, I am a dependent on my Mom's 2008 tax return. Do I make copies of my 2007 and my

mom's 2008 since I am her dependent?

Also to prove domicile, all I have is my CA license and a copy of my school loan from my 1st school.

What else can I use to complement my case?

You will need to attach an explanation of why you did not file taxes for 2008, 2006. You have 2007 covered. With your co-sponsors, it sounds like you are good to go.

2006 and 2008 I was a dependent on my mom's tax return.

if i may ask, what could I write in this explanation?

"I did not file taxes as I was a student, had no income and was listed as a dependent on my mother's tax return. Mother's SSN xxx-xx-xxxx"

and how do i go back answering #25 in the I-864 form.

The question is:

Federal Income Tax Return Information

You do not have a 2008 return, give the explanation why. Enter income as -0-

Attach your 2007 return and enter gross income for 2007 on the form

Attach an explanation for 2006 (same as 2008, I presume) and enter -0- as income
