Ask for veg. meal; pray tell, how. No one spoke a word of English on most Russia airlines. Some would read the safety regulation in English but it was phonetic-kinda like my Russian

Love Russia. Great people cutting through all the BS of day to day life. Americans would be so more efficient if we could cut through the BS the way the Russians do.

I ordered the Veggie meal via the website. Regular meal - ham inside a roll. Veggie meal yup you guessed it - a roll.

Most pilots are required to speak basic English because English is the default language for air traffic control towers.

Since I eat only miyasa, kuritsi, rybi and rolls, I had quite a hard time finding enough of the stuff I liked. They had things I liked, just not very much of it. Soup and salad is way cheaper than stinky fish.
