Here visiting my girl in Dumaguete City for the first time. Having a wonderful time here. Much slower pace than big city called Cebu. Anybody else know Dumaguete? They say it is the 'City of Gentle People' and so far, I believe it. :)

Nice quiet beaches. Also a good place to go dolphin watching.

I was born in Dumaguete but grow in Cebu. Yes, it's peaceful there and people are very gentle and laid back. I miss my grandparents there. Wish I can visit them again one day. Have a happy vacation there.

i am also from dumaguete but work and live here in cebu. it's good to know that people like dumaguete. it's really a peaceful city and far from the hustle and bustle of city life like manila and cebu.

have a great day and enjoy the city.

I love Dumaguete's laid-back atmosphere. It's one of the places we are considering for retirement (others are Bohol, Palawan and possibly Batangas). Dumaguete is on top of the list due to its proximity to dive areas like Cebu (Malapascua), Bohol (Balicasag) and Apo Island.

Stayed there for 4 years to finish my nursing degree in Silliman University years back. A lovely place.

Removal of Conditions :

August 16, 2010 - Petition received by USCIS Vermont Center

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.
