Hi Everyone,

I'm a little confused. I received a blue note (221g) with this MNL-IV-22 form after my interview last April 27, 2009. The form indicates that I need to submit a notarized completed form of Part C of I-129F from my fiance. I have to resend the page to him and have it notarized in the US. My fiance forgot to place 'None' in one of the questions. We are put on hold because of it. Below the form on the 'What to do Next' portion, the third portion is checked: "Submission of Required Documents: When you have all the documents required above, submit them at Window 17-20 or submit through private courier." We have submitted the lacking document already last Monday and we did not hear anything from the Embassy yet. Is this something that I should be worried? I do not know the result of my interview if we were approved or not and if I need to go back to the embassy again. The CO officer just told me to submit the lacking document.

Has someone experienced this? I appreciate if you can share your experience with this matter.

TIP: We realized a slightest incomplete document can cause delays. So please fill out the forms accurately. Make sure 'N/A' or 'None' are placed for those not applicable.

Part C is a critical part of the form and has to be answered. It normally will take up to a month or so for them to check it out and send you the visa.

Did they keep your passport?

Hi thanks, they gave my passport together with the MNL-IV form after the interview. As instructed in the form, I have to submit the passport and the document together (which I already did last Monday). What does it mean if they return the passport after the interview and was asked to resubmit it together with the lacking doc? Our petition will expire on June 6 and Im worried with the timeframe if it will take a month to get feedback from them.

Good that they asked you to resubmit your passport. You should be OK if you submitted what they asked for.

They normally automatically extend the visa date. Might be a good idea for your fiance to call the embassy and check about the extension.

hey there! actually i experienced receiving that paper aswell during my interview? it only means that, they just want you to submit additional document, give them what they asked for and youre good to go. in my case it took almost a month before i got my visa. Just be patient. Lets hope that the review will be over soon. take care and God bless.
