I-130 Approved and sent for review?? I-485 pending..

We got an email from CRIS yesterday saying this:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status: Case approval certified and sent for review.

On May 1, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND A THING.. CAN SOMEONE HELP? b'cos they say I-130 is approved & went for review?? Well, we filed I-130 in March & the rest of them in April since we didn't have all documents at hand to concurrently file..I-30 went to CSC[California Service Center] & I-485 went to NBC.[National Benefits Center].

I'm hoping they sent I-130 Aprroval to NBC..FOR REVIEW OF I-485. Has anyone got such a response?? PLEASE :help:HELP.

you are trying to adjust status and you filed these 2 applications separately? I think they should have been filed concurrently so they are received at the same place for initial processing...

That might be the problem here... I hope someone else mor knowledgeable can pitch in...

Yes we filed separately since we didn't have all docs on hand at the time, but kept the I-130 Notice (pending) along with the I-485 filing..Well, the I-485 is in connection with an I-130 and never stand alone if done in US. It says we have 2 options..so, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they have sent it to NBC for further processing..
