Timeline

My wife is almost 27 weeks. She had her glucose test, the one hour, and failed, and then had to have the 3 hour test Friday, for gestational diabetes. The baby is moving a LOT.

Shen, our baby, will be here in only 3 months now. I am just about ready to go into the bedroom to sleep. I work 3PM to 11PM, then study from 1AM until 6AM most nights. I sure hope I will make it with full time work, full time student, and full time daddy when Shen gets here.

tanong lang... yung cradle cup ba yun ba yung parang dandruff na nakadikit sa scalp ng ulo ng baby? im just curious lang kasi kung is it the same thing my baby had before...

Maamo???? She's got an attitude that she can show at the right moment! may pagkapilya ba. yes, they are entirely 2 different babies :)

cradle cap...yup, is basically the baby form of adult dandruff.

ah ganun ba so it the same thing my baby had before...napatanong ako kasi i thought kusa lang yun mawawala... sa baby ko kasi kusa na lang nawala but then when i was in the hospital meron pa sya nun so ginawa ko..i scraped it with my nails and nakatulong din yung wash cloth everytime my hubby give him a bath before...i never put oil or anything kahit may baby oil kami.

hehehehe... different nga talaga ang babies noh...my baby naman is may pag ka sneaky kasi he get so quiet trying to crawl just to get the ziplock bag...he likes to lick it kasi and everytime i see him doing that i take it from him and he gets so upset so much. yung ziplock kasi dun ko nilalagay ang baby wipes para less space pag nilalagay ko sa diaper bag since yung binibili namin is yung isang box sa sams club.

mga mommies may tanong lang ako... may highlights ba buhok ninyo? or is still the same black hair?

Meron nga daw pampers :) Ok lang kahit maliit na package lang kasi ang hirap naman pag malaking kahon..balak din kasi namin pumunta ng ibang places pa kaya mahirap din yong maraming bitbit.

Yup first time ko umuwi since dumating ako dito 3 yrs ago.

sweetdove, brian is already a member here... nauna pa sya sayo hehehehehe...

brijo, what course are you studying?

bmtrrbt, hi,

Well, currently I am a CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, working in a nursing home here. I am working at becoming first an LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse, then an RN, Registered Nurse.

To even gain admitance into the LPN program here, I have to work at aquiring enough points. So... one thing I did was signed up for an online class about Dementia. Dementia is what happens to some elderly people as their brain is affected. Alzheimer's Disease, the most common, is a form of Dementia. I just now am finishing that Dementia class. Then in September I begin the LPN program. So far with the Dementia class I have a 99% average, so I have been blessed.

In other news... we learned today that my wife failed her 3 hour glucose test. She has gestational diabetes. It happens to about 4% of pregnant women. Certain ethnic groups are more prone to gestational diabetes than others. These groups are: Asian, Pacific Islands, Hispanic, Native American, and African American. My wife is Asian-Pacific Island-Hispanic... 3 out of 5 of the prone ethnic groups. That is all I can figure out that made her develope the problem. Thursday we go to the hospital to learn now what she has to do to live with this.

hi brijo,

wow you are really striving so hard just to give a better life for your family... thats so nice. Thats too bad that your wife failed the test... i guess she will need to watch what she eats and check her sugar every now and then... I know your wife and baby will be okay...

your wife is big now...was she skinny before she got pregnant because she looked skinny in the picture you posted before here...

can you tell me whats the difference between LPN and RN...

God bless you both
