Documents at VFS

we have submitted original BC, MC, DS-230 part-2 and PCC at NVC......

i hv extra original copies of BC and MC but dont hv copies of PCC. i hv notorised copies of district and passport pcc...

IS IT OKEY ?? or we need original for submission at VFS??

but they hv written on vfs site to bring DS part 1 and 2 plus PCC.... do you think they wont ask for certified copy now? as i hv got passport clearance in two copy one original another copy of it but stamped and signed by passport office i thought they will ask at VFS.........

hmm... not sure, but I doubt everyone would have two copies of originals. Even if they ask for these things, you can say that you've already submitted them with NVC and they'll probably check and let go.. an experienced person's input will be helpful here...

hi,

please take notarised copies of all the above u submitted to NVC, you will need passport copy , you will need to submit the medical reports. Take all the papwer work in a transparent folder. Take 2 inch by 2 inch us passport size pictures. Make sure you just carry a pen, pencil and ruler with glue if needed. Please do not carry any extra stuff , because you cant take anything inside, cell phones are also not allowed you have to shut them off and keep outside. if u can go without the cell phone please do so. Please do not carry any metal like things, pins, clips or music players

hi,

you can notarise from the court or any one who is notary. I would recommend you that you get copies of the originals from the issuing authority itself. Like a birth certificate you back to to the municiaplity office get a copy of birth certificate from them and pay like 20 Rs for the English one . The paper work which you cant get it from the issuing authority again , you notarise it like passport, ration card or PCC.

K.D. if your interview is CR-1 Based which is what your profile indicated, you only need to submit the courier fee to VFS, and additional passport photographs. Your NVC appointment letter contains a checklist of all the documents you submitted to NVC, and you can show them that. Do not resubmit everything, the VFS website is outdated.

At the time of your interview take your medical report, and original pcc documents to the consulate and they will take these documents and add them to your file. Also keep additional passport size photographs.

This is exactly what we did for my wife's interview at the Mumbai Consulate and we were approved without any issues.

my visa is CR-1 and we hv submitted PCC originals all passport clearance and district PCC.. so according to you i dont need to give any copies of PCC and other forms, right??

I had my wife bring regular photocopies to the interview just incase something was missing from the file the embassy received, but it is not a requirement to bring photocopies of documents you already submitted to the interview. No need to get the photocopies notorized either.
