Reveal Military Experience in I-129F Packet?

I'm a veteran who used to work in Intel. I'm wondering if I should submit a copy of my discharge papers along with all the other documentation. Pros: more sympathy / flexibility? Maybe they give more consideration to OEF veterans who gave alot for this country since 2001? Cons: maybe they won't like the smell of a veteran getting married to a woman from that region?

USCIS will do background checks, so they will find out one way or another....
