I'm the wife of an American Soldier;

I'm the hope that lives within him after storm clouded days.

The freedom from war that gives wings to his heart,

May they reach across the miles and bind our hearts together

against all that we must face in this world.

Hay naku, gustong gusto kasi sa Asian store mabibili mo daing, fillet or relyeno na kaya favorite nya raw milkfish. Tignan natin pagdating nya sa June, makikita nya na puro tinik ang bangus dito.

I'll join. =)

Believe it or not, the first tagalog word that my hubby learned from me was "Mabantot ikaw"

Someone from our neighborhood was frying a dried fish and he asked what was that smell. And I said it's a dried fish.

I translated it to tagalog.. to "mabantot na isda".... and unnoticeable, he asked me what's tagalog of "you". I translated it to "Ikaw"... and Gosh! tawagin ba naman ako ng...

"MABANTOT KA!".. naloka ako. hahaha.
