My husband had his interview march 4th and passed the additional documents March 18th..I called the USEM and they told me to call after a month so I called April 18th..then call center told me to wait for 2weeks and then call again in May6th.. they said they have sent an e-mail to USEM who handles the papers.... It has been 2months and 1week since the interview.. still my hubby haven't gotten his visa... I am so worried I don't even know what is going on anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying: :crying:

The hardest part that I had to do in my life is to leave you behind and make u wait..until we meet again!!!

Calling the call center is useless, they don't know anything. The only way they will know something is if the USEM does a dramatic update like they received documents, approval or visa printing, but as far as updates they do not get any nor tell you anything.

Did the USEM confirmed they received the additional documents they wanted?

In my case it took me 3 days of constant follow ups and even faxes to get my additional documents to TEAM 1 (Team responsible for assigning case to consul for final review).

What additional documents did they ask for?

Did you drop it off or sent it via courrier?

Have you asked your senator to check in the matter?

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

they confirmed that they have received the additional docus since march 18th..but since then they told us to wait 1month and then another 2weeks..

they said we are not even under administrative review and don't see anything wrong with our docus..I really need to talk to the number you gave me so I would know what is really going on..

If you look at a calender, it has only been 5 weeks, 1 of those weeks was Holy week when the embassy was closed more than it was opened that week, so technically speaking it has been 4 working weeks. The standard reply of the underpaid USEM humans is to tell you to call back in 6 weeks. I know, we are in the same boat, Hang in there.
