Well I haven't received my 1-751 approval and im within the 90 day period to file for N-400.. so im just gonna go head with the process.

I just wanna know how many of you actually filed for the N-400 while having the 1-751 pending. Was the process of recieving your FP and interview just as fast as somebody who already had it approved, or did they take longer???

N-400 went darn quick for us, after that long wait for the ten year card, wife only had to carry it for seven weeks before they took it back as kind of a trade for her certificate of citizenship. Make sure you send in copies of both sides of your expired green card and your one year extension notice. Need both of those to prove you are a lawful permanent resident.

Makes me wonder if they have records of giving her that green card and one year extension notice. I made a nice color scan of her ten year card, both sides that her IO appreciated at her interview, could even clearly read the back of the card printed on one sheet of paper.
