To summarize, the Canadians weren't too happy with Napolitano's characterization of Canada as lax on border security. She fvcked up. She got facts wrong, and when given the opportunity to walk it back and correct her statement, she charged full bore back into it. Her response was very Cheneyesque.... Don't admit fault or error, just keep pounding the message home and hope that it soaks into people's consciousness
