Hello all,

I was wondering because on receipt of my interview notice it states that I should bring along completed affidavit of support (unless already submitted). We did submit that information and were well within the income guidelines with the filing of the AOS application, but since filing and receiving the interview notice he has lost his job. Do I need to find someone else to be like a co-sponsor, or do I not need to worry about it since it was already submitted originally? Will it be brought up at the interview if we have already given them one or do I need to complete another?

On a more cheerier note, at least I have my interview notice and my EAD card production has been ordered, it says thirty days but does it usually take that long?

Thanks everyone, I would probably have gone mad were it not for this website! Even though I am very quiet on it =P

Take care all, Hang in there. I have been having a really rough time not being able to work or do anything I normally would, and I just cant wait to get my life back on track again. =)

I would be very careful here. They could contact the place of work (since you provided that info) - you don't want to be caught withholding info.

Does he make enough in unemployment to meet the poverty level needed?

If not, you may want to line up a co-sponsor, just in case.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
