What size does it ask for?

You have to buy the biggest one they have. 394x314 mm.

It's marked that size to the right of the label.

You need the largest Expresspost envelope. Regional is acceptable for Ontario and Quebec, national for any other provinces. Also don't forget to purchase the "signature required" sticker. Good luck!

Consulate instructions:

http://travel.state.gov/pdf/supplements/MT...L-0003-0808.pdf

Accordingly, you must a purchase a 314 mm x 394 mm size prepaid Xpresspost mailer from Canada Post and present it with your documents at your interview so we can mail your completed visa to an address in Canada. Please bring one mailer for every four family members receiving visas.

I got the size they requested, but another V'jer who was in Montreal at the same time I was for an interview couldn't get the size requested. I believe it was a bit smaller, but it was the largest the post office she went to carried. They accepted it. It wasn't that much difference in the size.

is it the 394x314 size? when I was getting ready for my interview I had a hard time looking for that envelope size I thought i doesn't exist, so I had to check hundreds of times what size really they were asking for..went to couple of Shoppers store and I finally found one and it was the last one....

I think they don't have it that much because not too many people use it

Could have been, there really wasn't much difference in the size. I actually had the one they asked for and it was funny because I had it folded in two and she unfolded it and checked the size, and then matched it size wise to the one she had on the wall beside her. I think part of the whole process is to see how many hoops they can make you jump through.
