I am filing a AOS for my husband this time.

I made about 19K-last year(2008 income tax) and i believed it should be enough for the household of 2, right? and no assets. My husband and i live with my brother (same household) with a 30k+ annual income but no assets. Can i use my brother as my co-sponsor? If so, what form does he need to fill out? I-864 or I-864A?. Please help... thank you!

Even if we live in the same household? Dont he have to fill-out I-864A?

In order for your brother to be a co-sponsor, both you and your brother need to fill out separate form I-864.

If you made 19K / yr then you should be fine no need for a co-sponsor which will a raise question when they look at your applications, GOV requirement is 16K minimun or 125% so you're in good hand.
