Hi folks,

Happy to comeback visa-journey! And really need your helps! Please help me...

Well, we now have I797 NOA2 approval. So, is it time for me as beneficiary to meet the immigration lawyer lives in HCMC and then let them care abt our document of K1. Or it's better for me to wait for more time when my fiancee can receive other things from the USCIS and then do follow their instructions. Hey, just b/c i have heard that nowadays, it's so hard to be passed the interview of getting Visa. Be honest, I'm really eager to be there with my honey. So, I don't dare to think of the fail_day.

Please give me some ideas... I'm really worry abt the interview so much.

Ah, pls let me know how long i can take the interview since i have NOA2 approval.

And is it necessary for my fiancee to call me through his cellphone? We now only use the Skype to speak to each other. And sometimes I called him by my cellphone.

Furthermore, in our engagement party, my fiancee's uncle and aunt visited ( My honey's parents died). And we have had a lot of photos together also. My friend gave me an idea that I should have their tickets or passports when they were here HCMC. They traveled to VN by Nautica Ship. Be honest, I'm afraid of asking them abt that . How troublesome! Right?

What I mean.., Is that O.K for me to have their photos with us in the engagement part?

Well, pls give me some ideas more!

Thanks,

In all sincerity,

+HaoVN

If you can write English this well, considering you're living in Saigon, you should spend some time searching and reading existing threads in this forum. You're not the first one asking this type of question.

Do prepare your documents well and avoid making the same mistake like others, rushing filing their K1's, get the white/blue slips, then come in here asking questions with "Emergency!!!" in their headlines!

I am unclear as to whether you are man or woman. You call your honey "him, " but refer to "him" as your "fiancee." Anyway, I'll assume you are a woman, as that is the most usual.

You are very lucky that some of his family came to your Lễ Ăn Hỏi. Yes, by all means, get copies of their airplane tickets and passport stamps/visas. Believe me, they won't mind the intrusion if they went to all the trouble to come to Vietnam just to meet you. I believe our own case went through easily because I had such evidence.

Ditto what Melrose said! Credit Card statement highlighted the portion where the tickets were paid for would be useful! Never have too much evidence!
